| Chromatics safety glass tops the Tune Hotel in Westminster |
| The Tune hotel in Westminster is the first in the UK and 'sets the brand standard for the European roll out' (Architects Network). |
Originally proposed to clad the 6th floor extension of the 1960's office conversion because it could replicate the bright red brand colour, Chromatics Safety Glass was eventually specified, by Lee Pickering of Architects Network, in a green/brown (RAL 6008) colour to match marble used elsewhere on the building.
This highlights the ability of Chromatics to fulfil a client’s aesthetic requirements whilst retaining the benefits of a lightweight, shatterproof, highly reflective and completely smooth finish. |
| Chromatics was installed as frameless panels using a Eurofox rainscreen fixing system. |
| The project received a 'very good' BREEAM assessment rating, with Chromatics' outstanding environmental credentials contributing towards it. See our Environmentally considerate page for more information. |
| Chromatics has been specified for future Tune work. |
